Despite its fair share of plot holes, this story managed to keep me hooked with its gradual unraveling of Erin's enigmatic character. What intrigued me the most, however, was how she, a schoolteacher, miraculously concealed the brutal attack she endured, returning to her classroom the very next day unscathed. But let's set aside those implausibilities for a moment. The narrative, though preposterous, is surprisingly entertaining and irresistibly binge-worthy. The big reveal about her daughter may not have been the jaw-dropper I expected, given the glaring visual differences, but it's only a minor hiccup in the grand scheme of things. The real star here is the intense action, featuring heart-pounding fight sequences peppered throughout each episode. Erin's mysterious combat prowess is an early hook that reels you into this world. If you're in need of a quick and easy watch, with just seven episodes to its name, this might be your remedy. While it may not be the pinnacle of television, the gripping action scenes have left me eager for another season.
